Some of the best years with our pets are the golden years. They signify a life well lived. They show us just how much we are willing to do for love. I see it in every ramp built, every puppy pad tenderly reintroduced into the household, every seven course meal served in hopes that she'll just eat something. These are the most difficult times to be away. I'm here to help, ready to learn seven course meal preparation, tenderly clean up accidents, and get those legs up the ramp. I'm comfortable administering fluids and medications. Even more comfortable with TLC and belly rubs! I'm prepared for the physical and emotional demands and I am here for you as you meet those demands yourself.

Ah, sweet girl Spunky. That face! I miss her. Long before the cancer diagnosis, this beauty was scaring her mom. She wouldn't eat. This is probably the most terrifying thing for pet owners. It leaves you feeling so helpless. Her mom tried everything, bless her heart. She tried every brand and style of food out there. She tried appetite stimulant medication that went in her ear. By the time she sought a pet sitter, mom was only able to get Spunky to eat treats and lap up gravy from canned food. She was literally pulling her hair out explaining her routine. But she'd taken a position that required her to travel often, so she had to turns things over to someone. I'm blessed to have spent nearly a year feeding Spunky treats and gravy. I think she lived on spunk alone, honestly. The photos sent in my daily updates became a source of comfort after sweet Spunky passed. I miss you, girl, and f#*k cancer.
